"I took an evening adult ed course at DCC and Alicia was my instructor. I learned alot about medical coding and the ICD procedures. Alicia is very knowledgeable in the field and brought a realistic business sense to the class, since working in medical billing and coding is also her day job.I enjoyed the class and followed her advice to work in the medical field for awhile before continuing on to becoming certified. I have not been certified, but I am currently working as a front desk receptionist at a large local medical group. I think that my exposure to medical billing and coding has help me understand my job better.
